Plant Wisdom & Embodied Presence

from $40.00

A Half-Day Retreat in Plant Spirit Connection

Slow down, open your senses and step into a deeper conversation with the living world. This half day retreat invites you to connect with plant allies through the wisdom of your own body. We begin our time with embodied practices of breathwork, gentle movement, and intuitive exploration. From this grounded, heart-centered place, you’ll be guided to wander the land to meet a plant ally through direct experience, receiving impressions through feeling, memory, image, or song. We will close in community with a sound bath, farm grown tea, snacks, and shared reflection.

Participants are welcome to stay after our time together to socialize.

Perfect for anyone looking to slow down, deepen their connection to nature, and experience the healing power of plants in a safe and supportive space. Come to remember what your body already knows: you are not separate from the Earth, but part of her living story.

Plants you may encounter (there are many more!) - Bee Balm, Dandelion, Clover, Nettle, Mugwort, Motherwort, Catnip, Elder, Cottonwood, Purslane, Plantain, Goldenrod, Poppy, Burdock

About Liberty and Scott

About Liberty:

Liberty is a certified sound facilitator and somatic practitioner who has spent the past three years guiding individuals and groups through practices that foster authentic expression and creativity. Using sound, breath, movement, meditation, somatic tracking, parts work, and creative exploration, she helps others connect deeply with their internal worlds and energies.

She offers public and private sound baths across Michigan, supporting the release of stagnant energy and helping people reconnect with their bodies, find freedom in self-expression, and build confidence. Passionate about deepening the human-to-Earth connection, Liberty is excited to collaborate with Scott, Golden Hour Herb Farm, and all of you in this offering. As we ground ourselves in the earth and in community, we create the safety needed to come home to ourselves.

If you feel called to go deeper into this work please connect with Liberty at libertyglaser.com

About Scott:

Scott is a plant lover through and through. He’s been farming for 15 seasons, co-founding Golden Hour in 2017. His first project as a farm hand was designing and building an herb labyrinth, a vision of connecting to plants through the circuitous and subtle paths of consciousness and spirit.

Scott envisions Golden Hour as of a place where intimacy and reciprocity with the land deepens over time, and where humans remember that we are kin with all of life. He weaves breath, song, movement, meditation, altered states and tea (!) into his daily practice—rituals that support reciprocity, reverence, and relationship. He delights in sharing his love of plants and knowledge of embodiment with others, and believes the healing we seek arises through service, gratitude, and presence.

Since 2022, Scott has been studying breathwork, bodywork, somatics, and plant spirit healing. He offers 1:1 somatic sessions that help people reconnect with themselves, others, and the living world, inviting deeper co-creation and communion with the earth.

More info

As a group we will be practicing breath work. While breathwork offers potential benefits, it's not universally safe or beneficial for everyone. Individuals with certain medical conditions, mental health issues, or specific life circumstances should exercise caution or avoid breathwork altogether. This includes those with cardiovascular problems, panic attacks, psychosis, epilepsy, or those who are pregnant. This is an introduction to breath work and several simple breathing techniques will be used. It is not a mandatory portion of the class though it does deepen the work for many. And we will offer suggestions for taking it at a slower pace (or faster pace. Participants are encouraged to find their own level of comfort with these practices and to tend to their own needs (eg. there is no pressure to keep breathing if you feel overwhelmed).

We also offer 1:1 sound bath, breath work sessions and plant meditation sessions for those who would prefer to learn skills for deepening connection to the earth and nervous system regulation in a more private setting.
